HAITI RELIEF Delta Partners employees raised a total of USD 11,171 to help the victims of the devastating earthquake which hit Haiti in January 2010. Our help and essential aid was executed through partnership with the Haitian organization Gheskio.
GHESKIO Gheskio has been a partner of Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City for 30 years. Gheskio - HAITI relief objectives: Maintain a field hospital that has been established in collaboration with the US government DHHS at GHESKIO which is providing full service OR Capacity Provide water, shelter, and food as well as lighting and security to 5,000 refugees camped around the clinic Track, contract, and assure care to thousands of patients with HIV and tuberculosis who are at risk of being cut off from their life saving medications Funds raised were spent on: Fuel for generators and ambulances Solar powered light poles to manage 5,000 refugees Flash lights Food bars Pain Killers of all types: oral, IV and IM Stretchers to carry patients Light weight beds Sleeping bags/ sheets/ blankets ORS Tents for clinic triage and families Pay labourers to build security wall around clinics
