DELTA PARTNERS NOW A MEMBER OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM

As of the 15^th of April, 2010, Delta Partners became a part of the Global Growth Companies Community setup by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

 

The WEF is a Swiss non-profit organization whose motto is "entrepreneurship in the global public interest". The World Economic Forum’s Community of Global Growth Companies (GGC) was formed in 2007 and comprises of a select group of about 200 companies that are rapidly expanding globally and growing faster than their industries. Regional members include Boodai, Batelco and Dubai 9 group.

 

Jeremy Jurgens, Senior Director at the WEF states, "Global Growth Companies play an extremely critical role. These companies provide the best example of creating new jobs, new technologies and new business models. They represent the best of practice in the economy now".

 

On announcing Delta Partners' membership to the GGC, Marc Boxser, Head of Middle East for the Global Growth Company Community at the WEF, said "the impressive reputation and caliber of leadership of the company made Delta Partners an excellent candidate for the membership." Members of the GGC convene every year at the Annual Meeting of New Champions at the World Economic Forum's regional meetings in China. These meetings help the GGC members benefit from new business opportunities, networking with the world’s leading business and policy experts, peer-to-peer collaboration and industry-specific and cross-industry knowledge sharing.
