Fresh out of my MBA, I had to choose: industry job in Europe or moving to Dubai with a new telecom consultancy called Delta Partners? In the end, the curiosity of new places won, and I accepted Delta’s offer. Little did I know.

First, there was the learning. Not only did I learn the ins and outs of the telecom industry, but went on to work on Private Equity for one year and had the opportunity to recommend some of the investments that Delta Partners made in the emerging markets.

Then, the exploration. Having worked in several African countries, I used my weekends to explore and immerse myself in the local culture. One of the memories I’m most fond of is being in the main square in Zanzibar at the breaking of fast during Ramadan – a chaotic gathering of food and people, against an amazing sunset.

I have learned, seen and done more than I expected 5 years ago. Delta Partners has also grown, from a 30-people company based in Dubai, to a 150+ established company, with offices across 4 continents. It has been great to keep up with the change, and I am proud to be part of it.”
