VMCEE is a Virgin-branded Mobile Virtual Network Operator (“MVNO”) targeting data-savvy youth segment with data-centric offers focusing on customer experience as a key differentiator through building a strong in-house customer care function, together with strong consumer engagement elements of an MNVO 2.0 community platform. VMCEE has launched in Poland and aspires to be the leading youth lifestyle and consumer-champion brand in Poland and other CEE markets as well.
Our contribution to value creation
As a sector specialist investor, Delta Partners plays an instrumental role in supporting VMCEE to re-launch in Poland and to launch in other CEE markets. This includes:
- Strategic and operational direction-setting: Leveraging Delta Partners’ deep expertise in supporting MNOs and MVNOs, we help VMCEE enhance its strategy, vision, value proposition, go-to-market approach and customer management execution.
- Further strengthening the management team: We leverage our internal and external network of senior TMT professionals (alumni, current employees, partners and client networks) to strengthen the team as necessary. For example, we sourced and recommended the candidate which VMCEE have hired as the new CEO for Poland.
- International expansion: We leverage the extensive telecoms experience and relationships with key MNOs in CEE markets to help VMCEE identify the best MNO hosts, provide introductions to the MNOs, help in navigating through the organisations, wholesale negotiations, etc. We will also support VMCEE in adapting launch strategies to new markets.
